Lacie Grosvold is a multi-media journalist and investigative reporter at KTUU.

Lacie left her lifetime home in Montana during the smoky summer of 2004 to move to Alaska, enrolling at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. While at UAF, she double-majored in journalism and economics, and after earning two degrees, Lacie accepted a job as a financial analyst in Texas. Two years later, she felt compelled to return Alaska and her calling as a journalist.

Lacie reported for KXD in Fairbanks for two years. While living in Fairbanks, Lacie tested her "Alaska fortitude," living without running water. She says the people she met and the stories she told left life-long impressions on her. While working at KXD, Lacie covered a major wildfire threatening Fairbanks-area homes; made a mail stop in Anuktuvuk Pass; and covered the triumphs and sorrows of the Fairbanks-based 1-25th Stryker Brigade. Lacie's work spanned all topics and events affecting Alaska's second largest city and much of Interior Alaska.

In 2012, Lacie moved from Fairbanks to Anchorage for a broadcast reporting job at KTVA Channel 11 where she further honed her reporting skills as a general assignment reporter. She left KTVA to join the Channel 2 news team in November 2013.

When she's not shooting, writing, editing or making phone calls to track down investigative story leads, Lacie enjoys reading, skiing, yoga and as often as possible, enjoying the sunshine.
