ANCHORAGE, Alaska -

A Noorvik man was arrested after his hospital release Friday afternoon after recovering from a trooper involved shooting that happened in late October, according to Alaska State Troopers.

Around 5:41 p.m., Alaska State Troopers arrested 40-year-old Jeffrey Henry, of Noorvik, after he received treatment from the Alaska Native Medical Center. On Monday, he was listed in critical condition after receiving some treatment in Kotzebue.

On October 25, Trooper Joshua V. Rallo, an 8-year-veteran with AST in Fairbanks, shot and wounded Henry after Henry allegedly aimed a gun at troopers, which ended a standoff that lasted for more than half a day. Henry had barricaded himself inside his home and had reportedly fired his weapon at some homes prior to troopers’ arrival and continued to shoot inside his own home.

Troopers arrested Henry on an outstanding felony arrest warrant for two counts of third degree assault, one count of fourth degree misconduct involving weapons for possessing a weapon while intoxicated, and one count of second degree misconduct for firing a gun at building.

He was taken to the Anchorage Correctional Center and held without bail.
