A drunk driver pulled over Saturday evening is facing felony charges after arresting officers discovered a history of drinking and driving.
According to Alaska State Troopers, Highway Patrol officers conducted a traffic stop just before 11 p.m. Saturday, involving 31-year-old Michael Barrett, of Wasilla, who was determined to be operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
During their investigation, it was revealed that Barrett had at least three prior charges of DUI in the last 10 years, and had a revoked license.
Barrett was remanded to the Mat-Su Pre-trial Facility under the charges of Felony DUI and Driving With License Revoked. His bail has been set at $5,000, with a preliminary hearing on June 18.
