ANCHORAGE, Alaska -

Alaska State Troopers are asking for the public’s help to find a man armed with a shotgun who robbed a store in Houston Tuesday night.

According to a Wednesday AST dispatch troopers were informed of the robbery, at Little Miller’s Market off the Parks Highway.

“It was reported that a male wearing a black ski mask, green hoodie and tan Carhartt pants walked into the store carrying a shotgun and demanded money from the employees,” troopers wrote. “No injuries were reported and it was reported that the shotgun, while it was being waved around, was not pointed at anyone.”

Troopers say the man, reportedly in his early twenties with brown or dark eyes, left the store after the robbery but employees didn’t see which way he went.

AST spokesperson Megan Peters didn’t immediately have further information from troopers working the case Wednesday afternoon.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call troopers at 907-352-5401.
