A Washington state company has issued a recall for several dried egg products over concerns that the items may be contaminated with salmonella.

According to the recall issued by Nutriom LLC, the products were shipped nation-wide, and to military installations both in the US and abroad. Many of the products fall under the "OvaEasy" brand name, as well "Egg Crystal" and "Wise Company, Wise Blend".

Items produced between Feb. 28, 2013, and Feb. 8, 2014, and bear the establishment number “INSPECTED EGG PRODUCTS PLANT 21493G” inside the USDA Mark of Inspection are listed under the recall.

Symptoms of salmonellosis, which is caused by the consumption of salmonella contaminated food, include diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever within 12 to 72 hours after eating the contaminated product. The illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days, and anyone suffering from salmonellosis should see their doctor.
