#2 Story of 2013: Mitch Seavey Claims 2nd Iditarod Title
In March of 2013, Mitch Seavey won his second Iditarod title, 9 years after his first.
Seavey is tied for the longest stretch between titles, and at 53 years of age, he became the oldest musher to win the race.
The win was also one of the closest finishes, coming in 8th all time, Seavey narrowly edged out Aily Zirkle by 23 minutes.
