Aces Beat Up Grizzlies 5-1

The Alaska Aces wasted no time hopping all over the Utah Grizzlies Friday night.  The Glacier Blue Crew scored three goals in the first period en rout to a 5-1 victory. 

Tommy Mele got things started with a goal just one minute and seven seconds into the game, Evan Trupp and Mathew Sisca with the helpers.  Less than two minutes later Ross Ring-Jarvi added to the Aces lead with a score at the 2:56 mark.  Eli Zuck also scored in the opening frame, the Grizzlies got a goal back in the second but never challenged to draw even.  Evan Trupp and Mathew Sisca also scored goals for the Aces in this game.

Alaska will finish it's three game series with the Grizzlies Saturday at the Sullivan Arena.  The Aces are 16-7-1 in the ECHL, they trail the Colorado Eagles by 3 points in the Mountain West division.
