Coleman Grabs First Win Of 2013-14 Season

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -

The Alaska Aces registered a season-high 49 shots on goal and rallied to beat the Las Vegas Wranglers, in a shootout, 3-2 on Friday night at Sullivan Arena.  After making his season debut on the road, Alaska goaltender Gerald Coleman stopped 22 shots to collect his first win of the year.

Drew MacKenzie and Ross Ring-Jarvi scored goals for the Aces, with Ring-Jravi's tally coming at 4:05 of the third period to send the game to overtime and then a shootout.  Three of five Aces scored in the shootout, with Shawn Skelly providing the winning tally.

With the win, Alaska improves to 23-9-3 overall and has taken seven out of eight meetings with Las Vegas for the season.
