ANCHORAGE, Alaska -

The Idaho Steelheads buried the Aces with four first period goals, including three in the opening 10:45 of regulation to hand Alaska a 4-1 loss on Wednesday night in Boise.

The loss sends Alaska to 13-7-0 overall.  In victory, the Steelheads improve to 12-6-4, two points ahead of the Aces for third place in the ECHL's Western Conference.   Former UAA Seawolf Tommy Grant assisted on the first Idaho goal, at 4:07 of the first period.

Aces goaltender Olivier Roy came into the contest fresh of back to back shutouts over Utah and was able to extend his scoreless minutes streak to 152 before falling behind the Steelheads.

Jordan Kremyer scored Alaska's lone goal, his sixth of the year.
