Rob Gunderson got the start in net for UAA and made 29 saves in defeat, but the Seawolves were outshot in the contest, 33-27.
The Beavers converted two of their six power play chances and were led offensively by Markus Gerbrandt's eighth goal of the season. Ruslan Pedan's third goal of the year stood as the game winner, a blast from just inside the blue line at 7:17 of the second period.
