Tim Coffman, Peter Sivak, and Brendan Connolly all scored goals less than seven minutes apart in the first period to help the Alaska Aces climb out of a 2-0 hole and win their 9th straight, 5-2 over the Idaho Steelheads Friday night in Boise.

In the victory, Alaska had its near-ECHL record shutout streak broken after 216 minutes and 49 seconds.  Aces goaltenders had earned three consecutive clean sheets.  Mark Guggenberger made 26 saves to collect the win in net.

Jordan Kremyr and Evan Trupp also tallied for the Aces, each burying their 4th goals of the season.

Prior to the game, the Aces lost goaltender Laurent Brossoit.  The 20-year old, who posted back to back shutouts for his first two ECHL wins, was traded by Alaska's parent club, the Calgary Flames.  Calgary dealt Brossoit and another player to Edmonton in exchange for minor league goaltender Olivier Roy.
