Matthew Sisca buried his first two goals as a member of the Aces on Wednesday night, but his efforts weren't enough as Alaska fell, 4-3 to the Colorado Eagles.  Sisca also added an assist on Brendan Connolly's second period marker.

The Aces drop to 11-4-0 overall while the Eagles move to 10-3-2.  The two teams are deadlocked atop the ECHL Mountain Division with 22 points.

Colorado never trailed, outshot the Aces 29-28, and received goals from four different scorers.

Olivier Roy started for the third time as an Ace in net, making 25 saves.  Prior to the game, Alaska picked up defenseman Brad Gorham from Anchorage to help the team while Kane Lafranchise and James Martin are in the AHL.  The team also acquired Tate Maris as an emergency goaltender, one day after Mark Guggenberger abruptly left the team for a job in the Central Hockey League.
