The UAA women's basketball team improved to 11-4 in the Great Alaska Shootout since 2006 with a dramatic 83-75 double overtime victory over UC Riverside in Tuesday's semifinals at Sullivan Arena. The win puts the Seawolves in the title game for the seventh time in eight years.
In victory, UAA rallied from a 37-23 halftime deficit. Freshman guard Kiki Robertson led the comeback effort with 20 points, while Alli Madison delivered 17 points and 12 rebounds.
In Tuesday's first semifinal game, Georgetown overcame a 12 point first half deficit to knock off Nicholls State, 67-55. Freshman Natalie Butler scored 17 points while Andrea White added 16 as the Hoyas used a 26-8 run to take control.
