UAA Tops UAH 4-1, Now 4th WCHA
The Seawolf hockey team beat Alabama Huntsville 4-1 Saturday (Jan. 18th) earning 2 points on the night, 3 of a possible 4 points on the weekend. Matt Bailey contributed a pair of goals in the first period scoring at 11:06 on assists from Brett Cameron and Chase Van Allen. Bailey's second goal came just 17 seconds later at 11:23, Hayden Trupp providing the helper.
Late in the second period Jordan Kwas scored the first of his two goals, giving UAA a 3-0 advantage, Austin Coldwell and Blake Tatchell assisted on the effort at the 17:24 mark. In the third Kwas scored again, and again Austin Coldwell provided a little help setting up the goal at 17:48 to give the game it's final score of 4-1.
UAA is now 4th in the WCHA with a conference record of 8-7-3. The Seawolves will host Northern Michigan Friday January 24th and Saturday January 25th.
