The visiting Falcons shot 55 percent from the field and used an 18-6 closing run to deny UAA, which set a school record with only three turnovers. SPU moves into sole possession of the conference lead at 10-2 in the GNAC.
The Seawolf women dropped out of a second place tie in the league standings, falling all the way to sixth with a 56-46 setback to St. Martin's. Kiki Robertson led UAA with 9 points, but the Seawolves are now 7-5 in conference play after registering their lowest point total in four seasons.
